Noosa Queensland is A Beach Town in Queensland's Sunshine and Frazer Coast. It is a 2 hour and 40 minute (147.7 Km) drive from Brisbane. Noosa is all about balmy cilmate, beach days and bright blue skies, relaxing on its beaches and enjoying activities provided by the rolling waves.

History & Heritage

The original inhabitants were the Kabi Kabi or Gubbi Gubbi people. They inhabited this area as far north as Fraser Island and south to Pumicestone Passage and west to the Conondale and Blackall Ranges. The exact number of Indigenous Australians living in the Noosa area is unknown. in the 1860s indicate that there were several hundred living on the Noosa waterways. Lake Cootharaba is acknowledger's the Traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Owners of the land, sea and waters of the Australian continent
