Wallaman Falls North Queensland Coast Tourist Attraction
Wallaman Falls, is Australia’s highest permanent single drop waterfall.
It is situated in Girringun National Park, 51.2 km west of Ingham and 162.2 km north from Townsville.
The Falls is part of the traditional lands of the Warrgamaygan Aboriginal People.
The falls plunges 268 metres in a clear single-drop from Stoney Creek.
Surrounded by rainforest, the Falls is part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. This area is home to some of the oldest rainforests on earth
