Experience on the Coral Coast, Wildflowers, Ocean Encounters, and Stunning Views

As a tourist destination, the Coral Coast will provide the visitor with: uninterrupted stretches of white sandy beaches, untouched coral reefs just metres from the shore, breathtaking gorges and brilliant carpets of colourful wildflowers. The locations of The Coral Coast approximately 13 hour drive, 1295kms drive from Perth to Exmouth. A unique way to view the Coral Coast is to take a Charter Boat.

Being a outback coastal location, Western Australia’s Coral Coast starts just under 2 hours north of Perth in Cervantes and runs for 1,100km north to Exmouth. It offers the visitor places to visit like the Pinnacles, Kalbarri National Park, the Shark Bay World Heritage Area (including the dolphins of Monkey Mia) and the incredible Ningaloo Reef. Here you can swim with the world’s largest fish, the whale shark.

Places of interest include exploring Monkey Mia where you will be able to enjoy the white sand, shallow waters and experience the beautiful Bottle-Nose dolphins being fed and playing in the waters. Western Australia Wildflowers bloom on Australia’s Coral Coast all year round, but between July and October, you’ll see some of the most stunning displays in the State, when blankets of brilliant wildflowers colour the outback landscape. Try a Dugongs adventure, there is estimated that 10,000 dugongs live in the waters of Shark Bay, representing 10% of the world’s remaining population. Dugongs can sometimes be seen along the Ningaloo Reef

There are many natural attractions like Kalbarri National Park, marvel at nature’s ability to carve the landscape. Explore the depths and heights of the Murchison River gorges and sea cliffs and admire the floral beauty of banksias, grevillias, kangaroo paws and feather flowers in the vast, rolling sandplains. head to the Pink Lake at Hutt Lagoon, Port Gregory with its pink hues created by presence of carotenoid-producing algae Dunaliella Salina, a source of beta-carotene, a food-colouring agent and source of vitamin A. The Abrolhos Islands is a chain of 122 islands and associated coral reefs, in the Indian Ocean approximately 65 kilometres (about 40 miles) off the west coast of Australia. It is the southernmost true coral reef in the Indian Ocean, one of the highest latitude reef systems in the world and one of the most important seabird breeding sites.
