Located within Porongurup National Park, this remarkable suspended walkway sits atop an enormous granite outcrop, offering visitors an unforgettable experience high above the surrounding landscape.

A Walk to the Sky

Reaching the Granite Skywalk is an adventure in itself. The 4.4 km return walk leads hikers through towering karri and jarrah forest before climbing steadily towards the summit of Castle Rock. The final section includes climbing through narrow rock passages and ascending a ladder to reach the lookout platform.

At the top, the stainless-steel skywalk is securely bolted onto the massive granite boulder, creating a dramatic viewing platform that curves around the rock face. From here, visitors are rewarded with sweeping panoramic views across the region.

Spectacular 360-Degree Views

From the two lookout platforms, you can take in breathtaking vistas across the rugged landscapes of the Great Southern region. On a clear day, the views stretch across rolling farmland to the coastal city of Albany, while to the south-east lie the peaks of Mount Gardner and Mount Manypeaks.

Looking north, the dramatic skyline of the Stirling Range rises in the distance, creating one of the most iconic scenic outlooks in the region.
