Darwin Waterfront is where you can catch at Darwin’s coolest waterfront attraction; the Wave Pool. People watch, sun bake or just have a safe swim. The Recreation Lagoon with its protected beach providing a safe patrolled swimming beach to cool off year round. 

Set also in this precinct Set in a stunning tropical waterfront location, the spectacular Darwin Convention Centre is a world-class venue for business events. Also in this precinct with a scenic location overlooking Fannie Bay is MAGNT. The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory is home to internationally renowned artistic, cultural and scientific collections and research programs. Another historic attraction in the precinct are the WWII Oil Storage Tunnels were built in secrecy after the Bombing of Darwin

Darwin Waterfront’s biggest attraction other than a great place to cool off are the cafes and restaurants. These offer plenty of opportunities to breakfast after your morning swim, break for lunch, or stay on as the sun goes down for dinner. Choose from high-end Mediterranean and Mexican restaurants, to more casual cafes and bars – you’ll never be too far from an ice cream or a barra burger. 

Stroll along the lagoon’s, Wharf One’s row of restaurants and shops, or continue on to Stokes Hill Wharf. This is a favourite fishing spot, so the fish-and-chip eateries are very popular. Here is the starting point for many of the harbour cruises.
