Shark Cage Diving Eyre Peninsula Tourist Attraction

Neptune Islands in the Spencer Gulf is the setting for one of the world’s greatest underwater experiences: shark cage diving with the white pointer shark.

South Australia is one of the few places in the world and the only place in Australia, where you can get up close to the white pointer sharks.

The sharks are protected in South Australia. The crystal clear waters of the Neptune Islands Group (Ron and Valerie Taylor) Marine Park is great to see them in their natural habitat

White sharks, can grow to 6m long, with a weight around 2,000kg, however its their razor-sharp teeth that grow up to 7.5cm long. The sharks are drawn to the waters of the Neptune Islands Group  by the large breeding colonies of protected long-nosed fur seals.
