Tourist Attraction, Craig's Hut, High Country, Victoria
Craig's Hut, Perched a top of Mt Stirling in Victoria, offers stunning views of the ranges and is one of the region’s most photographed landmarks. First built as a set for the 1982 film, The Man From Snowy River film, the hut has now become an iconic symbol of Australia’s settler history. The High Country is a 2.5-hour drive (283 km) from Melbourne.
High Country provides visitors a year-round playground of adventure or relaxation. Ski over the Alps in winter at ski resort towns such as Mt Buller, Falls Creek and Mt Hotham
Get there by 4WD or following the 1.2 kilometre walking track from the Day Visitor Area.
A great way to see Craig's Hut and Mt Stirling. is to book a tour through a tour operator, and enjoy the comfort of not driving
